Hi, this is a channel dedicated to the art of Darren Hayes and Savage Garden; I have other channels for other artists (under different names) but this channel is devoted to these artists; seeking to illustrate brilliant lyrics, melody and rhythm to visual imagery, both stills and video, seeking to capture the mood, feel and semantics of the songs with the images, style and order. I generally choose songs that have no video already as you cannot better those, they are classics. I am based in London. These songs have moved me, I hope the videos simply accentuate that, no more no less. Love & best wishes, P717.
Sing to Me - Darren Hayes
The first time I heard this song I thought of Wuthering Heights, it just seemed to match that atmosphere and emotional force. With the Tom Hardy/Charlotte Riley film version probably being the best out there, it made sense to me to put them together. This song really showcases Darren’s very impressive operatic-style falsetto.

Because this is a real story. Life in those years was not as open as nowadays. A French girl, or any Western girl, was inacceptable to marry an Asian. And also in France, he would not have been accepted. Asians were considered low class by the French, Today, they would only face problems with his family but they could easily live in France. It's nice to see the real couple at the end of this video. I have never seen them.

Today 7 months, I proposed in Paris, she said yes and while preparing the wedding she dump me ‘cause I was diagnosed with bipolarity type 1 (she will start to study psychiatry now in march as a medical intern); I’m still suicidal and the only thing that makes me not shooting my brains out in the wall are my children (I am a pediatric oncologist) I miss her so much but I love her much more
